Bringing Up Father

As I reflect on my days as a young father and husband, it is clear that they were days of searching for right relationships and purpose for life. Since, as a child I had not had a father, there was no backlog of approaches or directions for how I was to perform as a father. Oh, I had some vague ideas, but they were to be quickly erased and new ones were to take shape. And they were very surprising indeed. May I share some of the things I learned along the way. This is not intended to be a formula for successful family building, but I hope it can shed light on what it is that a husband and a father learns as he tries to lead his family.
