July 10
Thus says the Lord, preserve justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation
is about to come and My righteousness to be revealed. Isaiah 56:1.
We would know nothing of justice or righteousness were it not of the Lord. Jesus
is our righteousness. We are justified by faith when we accept Jesus as our
Savior. I can now be treated as if I had never been a sinner at all, for the
Father sees me clothed in His Son, who is righteous.
I long for Jesus to be revealed, not just to those who are Christian, but to the
whole world. I am tired of the world’s profanity, its arrogance toward anything
that speaks of absolute truth or justice. Jesus will eventually have every knee
bow to His authority.
Today, Lord Jesus, let me show Your righteousness as I walk with You. Salvation
is to be proclaimed wherever we go together. It is You that they must see, so
let me trust that You and I are side by side, and I will yield to You at each
turn. Let Your love show to all that we meet. Amen.
